Queensryche truly knows how to throw a performance with their rock show/cabaret act. We had the privilege to see their show and interview bassist Eddie Jackson at The Chance Complex on Monday, August 23, 2010.
Although there was a delay of over an hour (due to audio issues) it was worth the wait. Geoff Tate became the ringmaster of the cabaret as he sang to the audience with passion and softness at the same time. His stage presence was masterful as the crowd followed his every word.
Their presence on stage was surpassed by their genuine kindness towards the fans. We met all members of the band after the show with fans selected for a private meet and greet. Each member was polite, mild mannered, with a sense of humor. The fans were given autographs and were able to take pictures. The band's reaction to the private meeting was great and the fans were more than happy with the outcome.
Overall, great performance and a great band, on and off stage. A must see!
